Custom Motorcycle Seats
Custom motorcycle seats are usually the last piece of equipment that is installed on a custom bike. But no the less it is usually one of the first pieces made. A custom motorcycle seat can make or break a custom chopper look and feel. So, it is important to have a seat that will be comfortable, but more important fits in with the design.
Creating a custom motorcycle seat starts with the metal work. The metal has to be scuptured to lay in the frame of the bike with falling off. It also has to have the right hardware to bult onto the custom chopper. If you are not a good metal worker then you may need to hire out an expert to complete this task.
Once the metal work is done its next stop is to a designer who will take a design that you can put together and stitch that design into leather that will be cast onto the seat with padding. The leather will then be treated and sent back for installation. If timed correctly, the seat should be back right when the chopper build is completed.
